Very exciting, Greg!!! This is everything I’ve been wanting and needing from Open Road to make IT the most complete product!

You did not mention if these changes are “seamless” for current users?

Also….may I promote this offering through my networks? Many would like to know about it!!

Wonderful news! I’m VERY Thankful right now….Happy Thanksgiving!

Oggie…this is a GREAT system for investors AND agents!!! I am both and I’ve been with them from almost the beginning….it just gets better and better and more steamlined. Very exciting!

Current Open Road user, hoping these new apps are available to us, sound GREAT!

  9. Adam Teece Says:

Wow, I can’t wait to see this stuff as a current Open Road user. Open Road is amazing and these new features are going to push it way over the top.

  10. mark Says:

I’m a current Open Road user and am looking forward to trying out the new bells and whistles. With regards to the Package Builder, maybe I’m not understanding it but we still need signatures on some of the SS Package documents so those will still need to be scanned and uploaded. So what does it actually do?

Also, anyone out there know of a program that can compress files? Sometimes the files can be so large I’m sending 6 or 7 parts of one SS Package. There has got to be a better way.

As some will be able to tell I’m not very tech savvy.

    Thanks!

  11. Ryan Thompson Says:

Cool. How long does the beta test last at this price? or is it just an addition to our regular monthly fee?

  12. Ron Says:

Awesome upgrades! Will existing users be included in the BETA?

  13. Mark Myszak Says:

A good compression program is WinRar at http://rarlab.com

I can give a bit better suggestion if I know how big the files are and where they are going.

  14. mark Says:

    Mark,
We are sending SS Packets to banks. I have a scanner that I use to scan all documents into my computer in PDF form. From there it is titled and uploaded to Open Road. We then send it via MyFax. Some of the files can be slightly over 15MB so they must be huge to try and accomplish this task. In addition I’m breaking the SS Packet into 5 or 6 parts. Maybe I’m paranoid, but I get nervous that the bank will loose some portion of our packet and delay the negotiations even further. Exactly what no one wants to happen. The docs are being scanned at 150 dpi. I’ve tried lowering the resoltuion on the scanner down to 75 and 100 dpi but now you are dealing with issues of legibility. And I’m sure faxing it via Myfax doesn’t help the resolution. It’d be nice if every mitigator preferred to get SS Packets via an attachment through e-mail. I hope I’m not forgetting anything but any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. Mark

  15. Trudy Says:

This all sounds great, but could you clarify if current Open Road users will get these updates automatically? You said something about wanting $500 then giving it back. Does that include current users? Thanks.

  16. mark Says:

Okay, just for clarification I pay $189 per month so I’ll be considered a Premium user and won’t have to sign up for anything and will get the updates for free – including SmoothFax? Thanks to anyone who can answer……

  17. Dorene Clark Says:

We are Open Road Premium users and Beta testers from begining of Open Road. We pay $189 so we can get all updates for free and never pay for any additional services. We don’t see any difference in our open road module and we cannot gain access to the modem for premium users advanced portal.

  18. Darrell Kucan Says:

It seems as though you should be able to create all the docs needed for a short sale package in the Open Road system, auto populate, send to doc-u-sign and when sitting with clients ready to sign, bust out the laptop, click a few times to sign docs online then send back to Open Road to be faxed… Sounds simple!
The Short Sale business can be paperless (Except the deed, which doesnt stay in your office anyway).
Our realtor uses winzip (not for us investors)in the same mannor except he has a hi tech laptop that you can write on, so his docs actually look like your signing papers… Oh, I have 31 day transactional funding (and 24-72 as well) to get around the BofA 30 day flipping rule and wachovia not letting us have 2 escrows open at the same time for the short selling property. Ask me about it. 760-683-4801
